We would like to invite companies who really are serious about reducing their carbon footprint to apply to become “Corporate Heroes of the UAE”. To be a Corporate Hero you need to:

1) Develop and implement a measurable strategy to reduce carbon dioxide emissions associated with energy and water consumption by 10% each over 12 continuous months.

2) Document the results achieved and submit to Heroes of the UAE to demonstrate your efforts and to help other organisations learn from your example.

3) Commit to develop and implement a long term strategy for the organisation for year on year carbon footprint reduction and allow independent auditors access to the environmental audits and review activities.

Companies who are successfully accredited as Corporate Heroes of the UAE will receive a Corporate Heroes of the UAE Charter and a certificate of appreciation signed by HE Dr. Rashid Ahmed Bin Fahad, Minister for Environment and Water and Razan Khalifa Al Mubarak, Managing Director EWS-WWF.

We would like permission to publish your journey and experience as a case study on our Heroes of the UAE website so that others may learn from your example and emulate your efforts.
